You have a loving son and he shows it to you, his mother.
It was the hope of most all women in ages past to have a son.
You are seeing living evidence of why that was so important.
Women often married older men in ages past.
Part of the reason could have been because of support.
Few women worked outside of the home.
So, the husband needed to be settled in finances and housing.
So, if the husband was older, say 20 years. Wink....
After his death.
The care of the wife/mother became the responsibility of the son.
HIstory lesson for you dear lady. Ha ha.
