Mother denied treatment for her child in the UK

A child that used to have more than hundred elliptic fits was treated with medical marijuana and since then did not have even an single fit. This is just amazing and shows the potential of cannabis that has been neglected in medicine for many years. But the UK denied to extend the subscription because of its outdated drug laws and thus the mother did what every parent would do and got medical marijuana via Canada source.

But the medicine was confiscated at the airport. How far does this stupidity have to be pushed? Thankfully the mother was not arrested, because even that could have been possible. When will the people realise that the state does not own us and we do not need to ask for permission. Nobody in the world has a right to stand in the way of this mother and her child and deny treatment on an reason, lest on laws that are designed to cover a completely different case.

Why does this child have to suffer? Because it will do some good elsewhere? I cannot see where or how. It is the stupidity of the state and the often mindless thugs enforcing the laws. Apparently one officer was in tears taking away the medicine. Then why comply? There is no such thing as just following orders. We all have a responsibility to evaluate our actions and have the right to refuse any order. If you are enforcing laws against the population you are complicit! What makes these type of laws possible is ordinary people just following along.
