INTRODUCING MYSELF - WHY I'M ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD

I am a proud connected-to-the-universe being.
I live all over the world and I love to travel.
I feel and I write.
I always used to write down everything and I loved to read so I could improve and create new ways of putting the words into shape. I started to do this on a daily basis only a few months ago but I am planning to continue on doing it because it heals. It heals myself and it gets to others.

Why on the other side of the road?

Because my life isn't and it wasn't an usual one. Not like the lives of most of the people I met. Because I like to be different, to make things in my own way.

Because I believe in uniqueness and diversity. Because I believe in freedom. Because I, and all the others who believe in freedom so deeply would rather die on our feet than live a whole life on our knees.

Because I chose a road not many would take and I'm swimming against the wave. When all those crowds are heading towards something, somewhere, I go on the other direction. I take the other way. They're all passing by and I'm watching them: no one is happy. Nobody smiles, not even one of them are truly living.
And they are feeling sorry for me. For me! For me, that I am free, I am love, I am abundant and fully, truly, wholly living! How messed up this world can be for some! And all this, because they forgot to be themselves, they forgot how to live. They forgot their dreams, they gave up on beautiful ends. But not only on ends, but on beginnings and presents and living as well.

I am moving towards my dreams and my goals. I let no one tell me I am not going in the right direction. I let no one tell I'm not worthy, let no one tell me I'm no good. I am moving forward because I have ambition, strength, dreams and all that I need is inside of me. And I have love. Ohh, I have the love of the most beautiful human being in the universe. Together, we rise above the waves, we climb the ridges of the highest mountains, we touch the sky. We are building empires.

I chose to believe in myself, to believe in freedom, in love and that's how I ended up on the other side of the road.

And when I feel, and I always feel, I write. By writing, I let others know there is hope, there is freedom and possibility. There is love. Yes, it exists. I was one of the people who'd always say that love does not exist anymore. Just because of all the pain and scars I was left with. But those are always healing when you love.

I write with the hope that as fragile and vulnerable I might seem to be, somewhere, someone feels encouraged by the words I align on paper.

I write for myself, but I also write for the world.
