Asian woman kicked and beaten by American man for no reason, security guard closed the door instead of helping

Recently, an elderly Asian woman was suddenly attacked on the street for no reason, and it was unacceptable that the security guards in the nearby building who saw the scene did not help her, but closed the door instead.

Police sources said the 65-year-old Asian woman was on her way to church at 11:40 a.m. that day when a man suddenly rushed up to her, kicked her in the stomach knocking her to the ground and verbally abused her, according to the New York Daily News 29. The video shows the man kicking her in the head three times, and each time she tried to stand up she was pushed back onto the sidewalk.

Video footage shows the man then running away, while the Asian woman was seriously injured in the attack and was taken to hospital where she is now in stable condition. The video is said to have been taken from inside a nearby luxury apartment building. The video also shows that a security guard inside the building saw the woman lying on the ground and did not offer help, but closed the door.

Staff at the nearby building told the media that they recognized the suspect as a homeless vagrant who had been loitering in the neighborhood. The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the attack and has released a photo and related video of the suspect, urging anyone with information to call police.
