Hello, Steemians, season's greetings from me and my family to you all.
As we are closing in for the year and preparing to crossover to the next by the grace of God, we sometimes feel like changing clothes and shoes and stocking the home and replacing certain items. With my busy engagements, I made time to meet up with needs in the house as much as I could. My family is my responsibility, as well as working for the church.

Fetching Water
MORNING
I was so tired the night before, and I slept like a baby until my wife woke me up for prayers. I was told to lead as I was half asleep. After the devotion, I felt I should sleep again, but a line of engagements deprived me of having that wish as a water board was pumped up for our area that lasted for about 2 hours. When it comes like that, everyone must fetch others you go outside to buy. About to wrap up the fetching, a friend of mine whom we were supposed to go out with called. He had to come to my house and spare a little time before we left.

While we were going, we saw a nice shoe, beautiful and suitable for formal dressing. We boldly approached the boutique, but the price was something to go and come back for. The starting price was 65k, and I told the seller I have 40k; he said no! We had to leave, but my eyes were still on the shoe.
AFTERNOON
Returning from where I went, I got a call from my wife to buy her a 10-litre gallon. I had to start looking around to see where or if there was a shop where I could buy the rubber, and fortunately I found one along Nwaniba Road, Uyo. It was shocking to buy the small rubber at the rate of 2,500 naira. Inflation is really dealing with us. I successfully bought the rubber, the mop bucket and the stick.

Around 1pm, I was at home already, and I was busy with my graphic designs using my phone before I went to the studio with my son for voice recording to help me produce a church jingle.
EVENING
Immediately after I finished with the graphics, at about 4:30pm, I went to the studio at Akamba Nsukara in Uyo. I had to pick up my son so that I could relieve the mother. My boy loves going out with me, but I must keep my eyes on him so that he will not play and move around as every child may do.

I did the recording and spent the whole evening using CapCut to produce the church jingle that started circulating on the church’s platforms and social media.
It was a busy and productive day for me. The ability to attend to family needs, church and other engagements made it unique for me.
