I was trying to get a picture of the cute little Hummingbird house and one of our pigeons decided to photo bomb it and took my cameras focus away. 😊
We got to spend a bit of time outside this week and H&T stopped by to visit each time we did. 😊

I made several batches of buns and a few loaves of bread last week, this was one of the batches of buns, fresh from the barbecue. 😊

I can’t believe we’ve eaten almost six dozen cookies in the past week, they were a few different varieties. I’m glad I made a whole bunch and froze them, or we wouldn’t have any for dessert tonight. 😊
I went and purchased a drawer organizer off of the site Temu and when it arrived, I let my OCD-side free. I think it turned out quite nicely. 😊
Our house pepper plant went outside a while back and has peppers growing on it. Yay! 😊

We had some older jars of applesauce in the basement that needed to be used up, so I went looking on YouTube, found a recipe for “Old-Fashioned Applesauce Cake”, made a few changes and substitutions to suit our tastes and this is how it came out. 😊
This is the basic “Old-Fashioned Applesauce Cake” recipe, cut in half and put into cupcakes. 😊
A friend of ours was going into the Costco in Fredericton and asked if we wanted them to grab anything for us, so, of course, I said “yes, a couple of their chickens please” and after stripping the meat off of the bones and putting the carcass in the freezer for later use, we made some lovely chicken sandwiches (above), chicken fajitas, chicken nachos and a couple of omelets. 😊

This is our first year for growing asparagus here, so we aren’t sure if this is good growth or not, but to us they all seem to be doing well. 😊
I’m grateful our hatchlings didn’t kill this one when they escaped. Thankfully, I was near by and could shew Caramel away from it before she pulled it out or ate it. Time to trim some hatchling wing feathers. 😊

We had a new pigeon come by this week, we’re calling her, Angel. 😊
