It has been a busy day and more or less a digital detox but I couldn't get if over my heart to not write a post for the first time this year. I am sure that this day will come but not yet :)

In the morning the oldest sun had an away game. It was the longest away game we have this season. A drive of an hour and 5 minutes. But it was worth it! They did loose but played with the heart and mind. They did keep their sheet clean until the last minutes of the game. But it was a great game to watch, the opponent team (Tienen) was just too good for them!

Pretty proud about his progress this season. They are playing 2 leagues higher than last season (only the professional teams play in a higher league) and had a real tough start. In the beginning of the season he mostly did start on the bench and rarely played more than half the game. But after a month of 2 he did start to make progression, increase his pace of play and got more confidence.
Now he is the proud captain of the team (hence the picture) and all team mates are happy the he is the caption. It is not that he is the best player of the team, but he is the leader of the team on the pitch! All these things combined are enough to make a dad proud!

Trampoline

When we arrived back home it was time to set up the trampoline we did buy for the youngest his birthday! He is getting 7 next Monday. But tomorrow we will have the family celebration! We did buy him a trampoline because that was what he did want (besides a vlog camera :)).
It is a rather big trampoline with a diameter of 4.27 meter.
Hope they will enjoy themselves on it!

I should now start with writing my business plan for my innovation team at work, but I doubt that will happen. I will read some documentation about how they want me to do it and will write the plan tomorrow morning when the wife is baking the cakes.
After that we will have to prep the house for the family birthday party!
