Wow! What a post man. I'd say do a mixture of the number system and descriptive words. I think having both would allow users to discuss their scores while also having an idea of what the algorithm thinks their portfolio looks like, where it can improve ect.
I'd be interested to try the app, it looks pretty interesting and easier to understand than a lot of other charts and graphs I've seen.
