The Need For The Right Financial Literacy

in #palnet5 years ago

Curtis had always thought crime was the lifestyle for him since he was illiterate and he was not able to read or write.

Life was cruel to him with his mother selling blood to feed the family.

He was arrested for robbery and murder when he was 17 years old.

By accident, he found out about stocks from another prisoner when he was trying to get others to read to him.

He saw opportunity in stocks after the prisoner explained to him about it.

It did the hardest thing by picking up a book to learn how to read on his own and he gained self-worth, knowledge and discipline.

He started to be concerned about his community that he did not care about it in the past.

He had even developed a curriculum that could teach men how to manage money through prison employments.

Get inspired by his sharing in the videoclip above.
