As I am from Bulgaria, the Danube river is basically our Northern Border :)
We experience similar heatwaves at the moment in most of our cities and now from first hand experience what it feels like ( HINT: If I was a turkey, I would be very,very afraid if I am not being roasted at the moment :P ) .
The riverside is awesome, but here we prefer to go to the beaches of our Black Sea.
I think to post a more detailed descriptions of those places!
But you surely made me think to go to Vienna again!
It is such a magical and majestic place!

I'd like to visit Bulgaria one day ... as well as see the Black Sea - it's on my list :)
Will be more than glad to share some of the great gems of places, that Bulgaria has to offer!
