Track of the day. Om –Flight of the eagle

I remember first time I heard Om. It was at the end of the 2000s. And I was like WOW, this is so cool. So I searched high and low to find their albums and ended up at an American web-store called Holy Mountain which was the only place I could find their releases, Conference of the birds and Variations on a theme. Flight of the eagle is from the first one.

To fully understand how much I have listened to these two albums, they are at the top of my most played tracks in iTunes. Being stressed out and overworked is death to creativity and this has served as my "chill pill" for years. Thousands of pages and thousands of images and files has been processed under this influence. To put it mildly, I have never earned so much money from anything recreational as from the two first albums from Om. I picked out both a live recording and the studio recording for this one. I like the live performance. The raw and untamed "drum & bass".
