Raining again
The snow and frost are gone again. When I went to sleep last night, I could hear the wind and rain beating against our windows and I remember thinking that I should probabaly move my car aways from under the trees. It remained as a thought only, as I was sleeping a moment later.
The morning was rainy, moist and cold. I mean, not the winter kind of cold, but the wet kind of cold, that only storms can bring. Guess there will be a proper winter at some point but the chances for it diminish as spring draws closer.
The roads are drowning in rain and you must take care where you step or you will end of with wet socks. Well, you will end up with wet socks anyway.
Due to the sucky weather we did some mild shopping here and there, mostly driving by car and rest of the day went indoors, I just took the trash out before resorting to the warm home. Tried out this new localised Alias boardgame with some new features. They have added robbers and such where you have no time limit and explain 5 cards to all teams after passing the space with the bandit. But since we were playing with kids, the game took a long time and we never managed to finish it before other things started taking priority. But it was nice, as I hadn't played Alias for years.
Don't think I will get the 5K steps today. I did some decent exercise in the morning but it's a hassle to keep your phone on you all the time and various activity monitors are not for me. And sometimes you just want your balls to dangle freely, not be squeezed by something in your pocket. I have some special exercise straps though since the days we used to exercise on the Wii.
Btw, my TV remote seems to have grown googly eyes at some point #twilightzone
