🌍 Cryptocurrency News: 1700 % in 24 hours? WTF is this XBC - BitcoinPlus?! (English/German)
Hello Steemians, why is this XBC (BitcoinPlus) Coin rising so hard? Over 1700 % in the last 24 hours! I don´t know this coin, only what you can read on their website here: https://bitcoinplus.org/ ( Only 1 Mio coins maximum) There are also no news about this coin and Im really wondering about the value. It could be a big trap, because when people buy it now and the price falls, they will loose all their money. If you have any information about this coin and/or you bought it yesterday, write a comment! :)

Ich kenne diesen Coin nicht, nur was man auf deren Webseite hier lesen kann: https://bitcoinplus.org/ (Es gibt ein Maximum von 1 Mio Coins) Es gibt auch keine News über diesen Coin und ich wundere mich sehr über den Preis. Es könnte eine große Falle sein, denn wenn Leute jetzt kaufen und der Preis fällt, werden sie ihr ganzes Geld verlieren. Falls du irgendwelche Informationen über diesen Coin hast und/oder du ihn gestern gekauft hast, schreibe einen Kommentar! :)

Yes, now it is over 2800%...
Now over 3100%... I already made some profits with short trades on it, but Im really scared about it will crash. Maybe it will rise more 1000 percents, but maybe it will crash soon...

Complete newbie here. Going from their site, it looked like another failed crypto 'investing' scheme. Where you put value in, they invest it, take a cut of the profits for maintenance, and then you take it out whenever you want.
The weird part is that according to the proof of withdraws on their site, https://bitcoinplus.org/sustainability_plan.php nobody has taken any money out since the end of December. There is also no big announcement from as far as I can tell, even on their Twitter.
However, the price on Poloniex is still shooting up slowly but surely. I am very new to this scene, but to me it looks like some group is either using it for some transactions or trying to drive it up (maybe the creators found some investors?). The reason it is shooting up on Poloniex is probably because that's the service the group uses to monitor it. Since all of this cryptocurrency is essentially just numbers it is very easy to monitor on sites like this.
Then again I could be wrong.

i noticed a bunch of fringe coins are up but 1700% is huge. Wish I had kept an eye on XBC, lol.
Did I miss the spike? will keep it rising?
I don´t know... Some people are saying it will rise over 1 BTC, but nobody can´t know it. It´s like Vegas, you could make a lot of money, or loose everything... ^^
i only play with a few hundred on poloniex and its mostly in BTS. >< i have lost trading confidence lately. Im just waiting for BTS to hit the moon lol.
