Pleasant Tone
Visions move around from corner to corner,
Often times they have no logical order,
Was it this way or was it that way,
A cacophony of laughter fills the room,
Sweep sweep sweep let's get the broom,
What was I thinking, zoom zoom,
Well I was thinking of this tune,
And then I heard a BOOM,
Some kitty cat destruction going on in the other room.
Ok.. let's try this again,
Where were we?
A G chord an A chord a C chord or a D,
I'm still trying to figure out what I want it to be.
If I think about this too long my thoughts begin to waver,
Maybe I should come back to this a little bit later,
Now my thoughts are going towards a satiating flavor,
I just read a food post and now I'm scrolling Steemworld,
The clock is ticking and I feel like I'm in a dream world,
This weird feeling comes upon me and I realize I'm writing a poem,
I guess I made it home,
I don't mind if my thoughts decide to roam.
In fact, it creates a pleasant tone.

Thank you for stopping by. Sometimes I enjoy writing poetry.
There's never any telling what my poems will be about or the direction they will take, because it's a creative process that I do not fully control.
I usually have a theme in mind, and with this one, the theme was me trying to write a song. I've had music on the mind quite a bit lately because of #musicforsteem.
For the photograph I wanted to create something unique. With poetry I usually go and snatch a free pixabay image, but I felt confident I could make a unique "music theme'" image. (My Jasmine Guitar.)
With the wood grain and shiny tuning pegs, I wanted to put some light in the back for an epic effect, I'm not sure if this is epic, but I really like the ambiance it provided.
From the original photograph, I added 100% vignette, and applied 100% cartoon effect. (The first time I've ever tried this effect)
And that's it for the editing of the photo. I'm not sure if it really looks cartoonish, but it definitely morphed this into something unique.
I'm not going to add the original to keep the post clean, but if anyone wants to see the original I'll be happy to put it in a comment response.
