Social Media and new generation

Present age is the age of science and technology.Our life is inseparably connected with scientific inventions now.We use various scientific devices or tools according to our needs.As such young generation are greatly connected with social media which includes laptops,mobile phones,computers etc.

Students are now greatly dependent on these things for educational purposes.These social media have become almost part and parcel of many students.Using the social networking sites,such as twitter,skype and facebook has become a strong fashion for everyone nowadays.These sites cause potential harm to society.The students have become victims of these social networks more than anyone else because while they are studying or searching their course material online,they get attracted to using social media sites and sometimes they forget why they are using Internet.Students are now dependent on the information easy to get on these social networking sites and web.Consequently,their creative learning and research capabilities are decreasing.Students who get involved in activities on social media,lose power of concentration.The more the students spend on these social media,the less time they will spend in socializing in person with others.This reduces their communication skill.They will not be able to communicate and socialize effectively in person with others.

Besides,the young generation are getting destroyed under the influence of pornography.Young boys and girls are getting morally depraved due to this.They often spend long time watching obscene video.Obsessed with these social media,they get physically and mentally weak,because they do not eat or sleep in time.

The teenagers are greatly affected by these,because their body and brain on the process of development,these things prove to be destructive to them.So,these useful things can lead the young generation towards destruction,if these social media are not used properly and consciously.

Social media plays a major role in today's world.We can have access to it anytime and anywhere.It has both advantages and disadvantages.The disadvantages lead to major problems which completely dominate the benefits.The contents of social media have become obsession and can create obstruction between students and their education.It destroys the young generation socially,morally,physically and mentally.So,parents must be careful about their children in respect of social media.Otherwise,they will face great
problems in the course of time.
