¿Cuánto poder hay en la lengua? ¿Cuánto se puede dañar con unas cuantas palabras? ¿Cuántas hacen falta para acabar con una amistad?

Pienso que muchas veces subestimamos la influencia que tiene nuestra lengua, las palabras que decimos sumadas a las forma en que las decimos pueden ser una bomba atómica para la pobre ciudad que representa nuestras amistades, nuestras oportunidades de trabajo, el futuro de nuestros hijos, la manera en que somos recibidos y mucho más.

Tenemos el deber de ser prudentes con ella ¿Cuántas guerras se habrán iniciado? ¿Cuántas familias ha destrozado? Pero no solo veamos lo malo... ¿Cuántas vidas ha salvado del suicidio? ¿Cuántas relaciones de amor ha iniciado? ¿Cuántas vidas ha inspirado y encaminado?

Tenemos entonces un arma de doble filo, nos toca usarla para bien porque no todo es animar y alejar de los pensamientos de mal sino también denunciar la maldad y esto puede acarrear que perdamos muchísimo apoyo por parte de aquellos que aman el placer y están dispuestos a todo por conseguirlo. Predicar el evangelio con actos es excelente, pero las palabras deben estar presentes... Bendito sea aquel que nos guía para dar la palabra correcta para aquel que estando muerto consigue vida y un camino honesto que termina estando dispuesto a seguir hasta los últimos tiempos.

Santiago 3:5-6 Así también la lengua es un miembro pequeño, y sin embargo, se jacta de grandes cosas. Mirad, ¡qué gran bosque se incendia con tan pequeño fuego! Y la lengua es un fuego, un mundo de iniquidad. La lengua está puesta entre nuestros miembros, la cual contamina todo el cuerpo, es encendida por el infierno e inflama el curso de nuestra vida

Estas reflexiones vinieron a mi mente mientras dibujaba algo referente a HearthFarms, abajo les dejo el proceso. Aún no lo termino pero voy encaminado. Quería participar en un reto de arte reciente pero por falta de tiempo no pude, espero pronto tener más tiempo para aportar más a esta hermosa comunidad ¡Saludos y bendiciones!

How much power is there in the tongue? How much damage can be done with a few words? How many words does it take to end a friendship?

I think we often underestimate the influence of our tongue, the words we say and the way we say them can be an atomic bomb for the poor city that represents our friendships, our job opportunities, our children's future, the way we are received and much more.

We have a duty to be prudent with it. How many wars has it started? How many families has it destroyed? But let's not just look at the bad.... How many lives has it saved from suicide? How many loving relationships has it initiated? How many lives has it inspired and directed?

We have then a double-edged sword, it is up to us to use it for good because not everything is to encourage and keep away from evil thoughts but also to denounce evil and this can cause us to lose a lot of support from those who love pleasure and are willing to do anything to get it. Preaching the gospel with actions is excellent, but words must be present.... Blessed be he who guides us to give the right word to the one who being dead gets life and an honest path that he ends up being willing to follow until the end times.

James 3:5-6 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell..

These thoughts came to my mind while I was drawing something related to HearthFarms, below is the process. I haven't finished it yet but I'm on the right track. I wanted to participate in a recent art challenge but due to lack of time I couldn't, I hope soon to have more time to contribute more to this beautiful community Greetings and blessings!
