Steemit Chat Back And Better; Advice Steemians To Stop Spamming And Follow The Rules For Each Chatroom
HURRAY STEEMIT CHAT IS BACK
For some days now i have been finding it difficult to login to steemit.chat which i believe was due to some technical upgrades. Thanks to @firepower, @riverhead, @cass, @steemitqa and other great steemians steemit chat is back
Steemit chat provides an avenue for steemians to promote their post and connect with one another (if you love to network, then you can start with steemit chat). In my past post on FINDING IT HARD TO SIGN IN TO STEEM.CHAT AND BITTREX i wrote about steemians finding it hard to sign in to steemit and i received comments from notable steemians who also expressed how they felt about it.
In the post, i had a chat with @karenmckersie, and she talked about how steemians most especially newbies spam several channels with their post.

Spamming can be very annoying. Some Steemians spam the channels on steemit chat and by that they do not give other steemians the opportunity for their post to be viewed.
After signing up to steemit.chat, you can join as many channels as you want provided you keep to the rules of this channels.
When you log in to steemit chat you can join the general channel, where you chat with steemians but cannot post a link. It is the official general chat channel

Instead of posting links there you can post your links on the postpromotion channel. You are allowed to post 1 post every two hours on this channel but of recent, i see steemians posting 7 links in 5 minute on the post promotion channel and this can be seen as spamming, preventing previous post from getting viewed. In this case you are risking been kicked out by the moderator .

There are several other channels like 100_votes_plus (rules: Share post with at least 100 votes but less than $100. ONLY one link per person per day......), 300_vote_plus, powerup (This is a place for all post that are on 100% powerup...)
Also there are places where you can post without been quarried, places like post_promotion-norules and many more.
I hope steemians learn to abide by simple rules

Dont mean to be negative but i'd say Dont put your bottom dollar On that. People tend to have a problem with rules. They like it better when You wave a penalty measure so they can see it.
Bots that disable your post and keep activities in check should be implemented.

Only been here for a few days, but was sad to see chat was not up and running but glad to see it is up and running again, and I agree I hope that people will abide by the rules, surely they would get downflagged if they do it too much and reputation will take a hit too. Thanks for post on chat going back up! :)
