My Experience of 4D movie Black Panther
After watching this movie in 4D Phoenix Market city ,
Couldn’t resist myself to review this movie,as it’s the sentiments and language is very close to my virtual world
airhawk project ..the telegram group
.My correlation with my real and virtual world ..Giving few examples from this movie how india and Africa is similar
…As I always do tell @kingxy lots of similarities …and we are same so here we go…
“Black Panther,” which has a cast made up of predominantly black actors and actresses. Truly inspiring for all African People
Black Panther will have plenty to talk about … from its portrayal of race and gender to the overall importance of having black superheroes as main characters, rather than sidekicks.
Exodus Diversity
Directed by Ryan Coogler, and featuring an all-star lineup of Black Hollywood, this movie has given us something to look forward to.
This film even shows diversity within like me in Airrhawk -project telegram group
Chadwick Bozeman (T’Challa),
Michael B. Jordan (Killmonger),
Angela Bassett (Queen Mother) and
Forest Whitaker (Zuri) are from the United States.
Danai Gurira (Okoye) is from Zimbabwe. Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia) is Kenyan, born in Mexico.
Letitia Wright (Shuri) is Guyanese.
Daniel Kaluuya (W’Kabi) is English and Ugandan.
Florence Kasumba (Ayo) is Ugandan-German. Winston Duke (M’Baku) is from Trinidad and Tobago.
We are not a single entity and even when we’re all from different places in airhawk group our melanin is different but respect for each other always unites us.
The first scene at Warrior Falls, where all the tribes are standing at the edge of the cliff, singing and swaying, took my breath away for a second it was literally like watching Bahubali in Uganda
They reflected how beautiful Darkchocolate is, and they are too beautiful just like me,.sorry guys boasting about myself
when I saw Zuri wearing an agbada, which is traditional Yoruba wear.
I jumped of my Rocky and bumpy chair..yea its similar when my group members forwarded their own photographs in some marriage @diskorvery
It was 4D effect theatre but it was just giving rocky bumpy experience of my moving chair that’s it.. N no more effects as in there should be water splashing.. blowers were there but no wind effect so special effects of fourth dimension was missing and was totally waste and worst xperience of this theatre this is about theatre not movie guys now again catching up with movie highlights
Women were portrayed as superpower I appreciated most in the film this aspect and opposite to this shown was Tenderness of the Men(All the men in my airhawk project telegram group are soft hearted )
In this film women shown as shaved heads are the ones It complemented them, as functional as they were shown as bodyguards of the kings like katappa in the movie Bahubali…My Indian friends can correlate
The most technologically advanced country in the world wakanda I recall in my mute mode Uganda….hmmm
Shuru is a Techsavvy girl who put vertebras back together in 24 hours, made shoes for her brother the black panther king that gave off no sound, and created a suit that uses any force that has been sent towards it, as Kinetic energy to fight..
Shuri’s a genius, and showed her powerful and so easily acceptable around by others and allowing her the authority to be in that position.
My favorite character in the movie might be Okoye, the warrior women. She’s such a fierce human, who is principled and strong and full of integrity like @ceepee in our group.
She commands respect the moment you see her, and she’s the one advising and standing strong with and in turn T’Challa listens to and trusts her so much
She has a man she loves (W’Kabi).
However, she won’t put it over her duty so much dedication wow…Duty is more than Bae .. Women are usually projected as to be love crazy and will die for that.
Nah: BABA MAMA these common words used by my Naija friends too now I am using it.. OKOYE will die for her country..
My favorite scene is the one where she stands in front of W’Kabi (riding a rhino) her Boyfriend ,rushes towards her but the rhino stops right in front of her and licks her face. (HAHAAAH TOO FUNNY THE SHOT )
As if the Rhino Knows knows that’s his master’s boo( Boo the word …Learnt again from my friends ).
And when she pulls her verbanium spear on her Bae , and he asks if he’d kill her, she says
“For Wakanda? Without question.”
And he drops his weapon and gets on his knee.(Awh)THAT was the sensual thing in the whole film.
That moment, when the man who loved this woman dropped his weapon for her.(wow moment ) If this happens in real life too and the man just drops his ego infront of his lover that’s the real love for me.
Black Panthers Girlfriend named Nakia.
She is like social worker and was saving people.. Her qualities were her heart and love for people
She is the protector and savior in the movie ..saving the Queen and Shuri.
Her quick thinking in grabbing a heart shaped herb before they were burned ultimately saved T’Challa, bringing him back from the ancestral realm.
Throughout this film, T’Challa was surrounded by women and he leans on them constantly and trusts them implicitly. His mother, Ramonda, his sister, Shuri, his lover, Nakia, and his protector, Okoye.
T’Challa’s bravado is not at toxic masculinity levels. Related…
I appreciated how the men in this film were allowed tenderness when it mattered. T’Challa is different from a lot of superheroes I’ve watched on screen.
Black Panther’s reasons for not waging war also felt like he wanted to make sure he wasn’t taking lives needlessly.
Like his father told him,
“You are a good man, with a good heart. And it’s hard for a good man to be a king.”
Sometimes I also wonder for myself with a good heart will I survive in this real world
It was good to see vulnerability of king The Man in the form of tears
Men are usually shown as super aggressive and hard core
Even Killmonger the villain showed some weakness , though he was heartless as he was villain
The Portrayal of Africa as Its Own Superpower
The showed Wakanda African country that is more technologically advanced than any other due to vibranium a superpowerful metal and what I studied in geography I could remember was that malnutrition and malaria is prevalent in these countries,it was good to see and share with my friend now dnt cry for powercuts see ur country in this movie. So guys feel happy about your country
Even the American CIA agent couldn’t even fathom it, because if it was impossible
Best Part was The Humor
. The two funniest people in the film? Princess Shuri and M’Baku.
I really loved this little sister character who always annoy her older brother like me teasing everone in group she is shown as ass techie but sorry I am not that techsavvy
The dialogue when he says to white CIA .
Don’t scare me like that, colonizer.”
The other person who had me cracking up was M’Baku, leader of the Jabari men.
But when I truly fell in love with him was when he interrupted a nice, sappy moment by asking them annoyingly
“Are you done?”
when whole of the royal family was discussing about villain And then I realized he was clearly a Naija..
Why? “Are you done?” is classic Nigerian
M’Baku the character I love him so much. When the white man was convincing him for the help and he hit him with the
One more word and I will feed you to my children. I’m kidding, we are vegetarians.”
I crackled so loudly! That brings me to…the reminder of my olden golden days of my group.
One more time OKAYE says
why you are fighting with old traditional guns
and she attacks with her spear (HAAHAH) but guys its made of vibranium so must be advanced weapon i guess not traditional
I am still thinking about what T’Challa said
“Fools build barriers, the wise build bridges.” I don’t care where you’re born.
This melanin hopefully WILL NOT BUILD BARRIERS WITHIN US ,in our group too .
So shoutout to Ryan Coogler and the cast who KILLED IT.
And allowed me to write the review .
Don’t know why? nowadays attracting Nigeria so much so I watched this movie too so I’m officially claiming citizenship
of Wakanda.(African).Expecting free airfare from our group leader @dreamchasser for this review .
Wakanda Forever
[Its not my anthem but the Dialogue from the movie ]
