Chili Oil, Anyone?
On this particular day my wife and I prepared and cooked chili oil. It simply makes eating anything and everything a culinary delight.
The Recipe
Preparing The Ingredients
Place In Pot
Add One Quart Coconut Oil
Bring To Boil And Simmer For 20 Minutes
Pour Oil On Chili Flakes
Good To Go
Cool And Store In Bottle
Perfect with anything.

So what will you do with this oil?
You garnish your food with it like a sauce. It's quite spicy with a flavorful taste and aroma from all those ingredients used in making the oil. If you like hot and spicy food, this one is for you 😋
So you created a spicy oil. Is it for all types of food or lettuce or can you marinade with it as well? I do like spicy. I only make cheese with garlic and pepper and a bit of herbs in oil to add to lettuce or just eat it this way.

For me, I use it for all types of food. I haven't tried it with lettuce but i am sure it will taste great with it. But normally I take lettuce with olive oil, balsamic vinegar (if we have it, if not plain vinegar), and some herbs. I don't think it can work as a marinade. I haven't thought of that and haven't tried it. 😊
