Diamond Painting Framed

in ᴀʀᴛ & ᴀʀᴛɪꜱᴛꜱ11 months ago

Hello Arts and Artists Community. I guess I owe you an update on my wife's Diamond Painting progress. In my previous post on this subject, click link here, I did mention that my wife will be framing the canvasses that she will complete and that I will show you the framed Diamond Painting. Well, here goes. Hope you like this.

First off is this canvass of Mary and the Child, Jesus.

This was how the completed diamond painting looked like.

Photo below is the framed painting.

As you can see, the diamond glitter on the painting depends on the position of the viewer. There are angles that make the canvass sparkle all around and other angles that don't show too much sparkle. The lights too can affect the extent of the glitter as shown in the last photo above.

Second is this canvass of the Holy Family. Photo below shows the completed painting.

Then the initial framing.

And the final frame with the borders in place.

1000010271.jpg

I also took a photo of the two paintings hanged side by side.

As I mentioned in my previous post on this topic my wife is a very religious person so most of the canvasses she ordered were religious in nature. But there are thousands of designs one can order depending on his/her preferences.

The third completed painting is the Madonna and the Child, Jesus.

And framed, too.

1000010274.jpg

And the last piece she completed.

She only has one more canvass to do but she said she'll take a break first. She hasn't done much with her other avocations and so she's catching up. But I do hope you enjoyed this post and somehow get into this hobby. It really is quite relaxing and a great way to destress from all the worries of everyday living. It also is a great gift idea. Tagging @henryclive and @serdak who might be interested to see the finished product of my wife's Diamond Painting.

A segue if you please. Hope you don't mind. 😊

We're running low on bath soap and my wife has to start replenishing our stock. Yup, we haven't bought bath soap for years because she makes them herself. She said it makes us less exposed to chemicals normally found in soap that could be harmful in the long term. I plan to do a post about this in the future. Meanwhile, leaving you with this photo. Please forgive the digression as this shouldn't even be here. 😄

Have a great day, everyone. Thanks for visiting.

I am fine with soap, especially if it's handmade and I like to see more and hear the recipe. They look good and like to hear about the moulds used.

Years ago a guy told me his grandmother used the ashes for the soap. I wonder is people still do that.

The Diamond paintings look good and as I understand it depends on where you stand and how bright looks.
I wonder if your wife will try in the future to use blank canvas and create her own painting.
Thanks for sharing and not forgetting us.

Glad you're okay with the soap plug 😁 I have been planning to post this for over 3 years already but haven't been able to do yet. I guess this is my way of incentivizing me to do it. You know, like, "There, you said it. Now do something about it." But actually there's an artistic element to soap making and that's making all these different designs like dog footprints which my grandson loves. The molds used do make a difference from ordinary to extraordinary. Stay tuned in for the next post 😊

In the provinces here in our country, it is common practice for people to use ashes to clean cooking utensils blackened by soot. So I wouldn't wonder about using ashes for soap. But definitely, not for laundry 🙄

Wonder no more. She says she doesn't have an iota of knowledge and skill how to work on a blank canvass. It is what it is, I guess.

I consider it a pleasure to share this with your Community. How can I forget?🫠

Admiro la paciencia y la buena visión que debe tener tu esposa.
😀

Gracias. Me too 😊

The paintings look really impressive. I like the third one the most. It is so colorful! Undoubtedly, they all deserve applause.
Under your previous post I wrote that my grandmother got such a painting. I took a picture of it.

My grandmother is also a religious person.

I am very interested in this post about soap. Will it perhaps be a post showing how such soap is made? I would love to try to make it.

Thanks for remembering to take a photo of your grandmother's painting. It is very beautiful. I had to look really closely because at first glance it was like a cross stitched canvass. But no. It really is covered with rhinestones. Amazing how bright the colors are and how neatly the canvass is done. My wife loved it very much. Thank you for sharing.

As I mentioned to our friend @wakeupkitty.pal I have been meaning to write the post about soap for maybe 3 years already but still have not. I intend the post to be a step by step process on how my wife makes the soap, the materials she uses, the quantities needed for the mixture. The works, as they say it. It is how to present the post in a logical sequence while keeping it interesting that's the challenge for me. I actually mentioned the soap to pressure myself to do it 😊 Hopefully I do and I will definitely tag you when it is done.

A blessed Sunday to you 🙏

Thank you for the explanation. In that case, I will wait. Have a great day!😊

Thanks for your ever persistent support. It's really one of the best ways to start a day 🥰

Lovely! I love the glitter effect on the paintings. How many days did it take your wife to complete each one?

there are thousands of designs one can order depending on his/her preferences.

I’ll check

Also, could you share how you made the soap?
