14months later... I'm a 65!

Well, technically I am still a 64 but SteemD has decided it's time to push me over to 65! Which means I'm like 64.96+ on the scale and literally this posting should do it!

Looking back, the journey has been an exciting one. Wow - It has changed around Steemit quite often and dramatically since I began here some 2 1/2 years ago. When I really think about the ghost of Steemit past, I tend to remember how this place used to be about 2years ago. Back when only whale votes counted - It seemed like the content was much more interesting and basically everyone tried harder to be noticed, which included commenting and upvoting new users... Then again, there wasn't as many users here. Times have changed as they typically do.
But over the past couple years I have watched many users join and some have become very successful here... Much more successful than I could ever hope to become. But I have also seen many successful users quit or disappear or change. Here is a shout out to some of those I miss from back in the day: @craig-grant , @greenman , and of-course @berniesanders (I know he's still around, but he used to really make this place exciting)

I have also realized that success on Steemit is basically how dedicated you are on this platform.
I have found that my dedication level to Steemit varies. I get involved and then take a step back quite often, so I don't expect to ever really make it on trending but that doesn't stop me from posting. I enjoy Steemit, it's fun, it's good to read and write and Steemit has literally the lowest bar out there for creating content...
I don't know, as long as the Steem blockchain exists and I'm still kicking, I'll still be here.

I guess success anywhere really depends on dedication. My platform of choice is BitcoinTalk.org - which is where I dedicate most of my cryptocurrency efforts and because of that, I have found much more success on that platform than any other. And due the fact that BitcoinTalk has been slowly turning into a cult-like society (Similar to Steemit), being a high ranking member pays it's dividends.

So, it really goes to show that "Putting in the time - Will pay a lota Dimes"

Any who... I am moving on up - Hopefully 66 doesn't take another year!
