ELIXIR FOR LOVE

This is a poem i wrote with the actual intention of writing a song. It is all about how we sometimes could be afraid of love and the hurts or aches it causes to heart, now wishing there could be an elixir or something we could drink to make us less vunerable or impermeable feelings.

Pouring it real
Bottling every pain that I feel
I'm drinking all still
Till I gat that heart of a steel
Heavy for you to steal
That's what I used to say until
You finally became part of my team
My emotions are heating up like steam
I can't keep all these within

What's happening to my steel heart
Now i have to watch till you steal that
I hold very dear to me
Because now you mean everything to me

I love you girl and you know what I mean
I'm saying these words and I'm not mincing it
Though I can't deny I'm not feeling the pressure of these ladies inviting me

But you know, you all I'll be fighting for
I was a man thinking with all of his mind
Now I'm so blind following solely my heart
I can't think straight
Ever since you stole my heart away
