Sports icon, the Subaru Impreza WRX STi is about to bow and Subaru France marks the coup by offering a limited edition of 60 copies called WRX STi Legend Edition available for € 47 990.
To celebrate the remarkable career of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI which has become an icon of sport sedans, Subaru France offers in early 2018 a special series numbered and limited to only 60 copies. This special edition is based on the WRX STI-S model with aileron. In addition to its rich technological equipment that is found on all WRX STIs, such as its multimode central differential (DCCD) to manually distribute the power between the front and rear trains, this version of finishing of the WRX STI-S is including equipped with a series of directional headlamps, 19 '' rims, yellow Brembo brake calipers (6 pistons front) and leather / alcantara seats.
The STI Legend Edition adds to this endowment a complete body kit consisting of a front spoiler blade, side sills and a rear diffuser with STI logos. The famous emblem of the brand also adorns the nuts of the rims (with anti-theft), the radiator and oil caps, the starter button and the floor mats. Ultra-sporty, the WRX STI Legend Edition does not neglect the comfort so far by adopting the keyless access system, a rearview camera, an electric driver's seat and two heated front seats.
This limited edition is a tribute to the great story of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, which began in 1993 with the launch of the Impreza GT Turbo. This model blew up the success and notoriety of Subaru globally. With its symmetrical all-wheel drive and Boxer engine, two characteristics that are the brand's signature, the compact Impreza has enjoyed worldwide success thanks to its outstanding road performance and achievements in the World Rally Championship. Between 1993 and 2008, Subaru won 47 victories, three world titles of the constructors in 1995, 1996 and 1997 and three other pilot titles with Colin McRae in 1995, Richard Burns in 2001 and Petter Solberg in 2003.
The price of the WRX STI Legend Edition is set at € 47,990. And to start the year 2018, Subaru France and its dealer network offer on this model a fun bonus of € 10,000 corresponding to the cost of registering this vehicle outside standards.
