Accept yourself as you are! (Day 3 of 30 of the Happiness Challenge).
Last night I was watching television and I watched some program about plastic surgery. I was amazed at the amount of perfectly good looking people wanting to have plastic surgery done. They were just not satisfied by the way they looked and they were so influenced by society to look a certain way that they were willing to go through great lengths to change themselves.
Why couldn't they just accept themselves as they are?
Somewhere in the world of Hollywood someone decided that this is what a perfect woman should look like and it is all so superficial. We all have our problems with our bodies, and I would love to look the way that I looked twenty years ago but I will definitely not consider plastic surgery.
Personally I think plastic surgery should only be considered after an operation or after an accident. Even though I am overweight, and gravity has taken its toll, I would not change anything on my body. It took a long time for me to accept myself for who I am and they way that I look.
I may not have a perfect body, but to me I am perfect just the way I am!
Would you consider plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons and why?
I am so with you on this. Unless it is for a medical reason, I do not think people should bother with this. The risk alone is not worth it and the effect does not last.

Hey @fitinfun, I saw @hopehuggs doing this challenge so I'm playing follow the leader here. Don't even know if I'm using the right tags.
I was so so angry the other day, my sister in law phoned to tell me that she has a list of doctors that does plastic surgery for cheap prices, and that I should save up for certain procedures. My mother and husband said that I should not feel bothered, but you know what ...I am bothered. I am rather upset actually. If I wanted to do a procedure, I would do so out of my own free will and not because someone suggested it or just because I can.
