Hello Steemit Team, fellow Newbies it has been quite long time since I continued with my tasks on achievement post. This was due to being tight for studies and more stuff. But, I'm trying as much as possible to keep much of my tasks done and even reach minnow support and to join fantastic & popular "better life for Steem."

I feel very happy to share my opinion on task before me, that's "Content Etiquette", my emphasis basing on *"plagiarism of content; text, images, videos and many more. Far as Steemit deals with "proof of brain," we believe in originality and authenticity of content or work. So, any source of information that are shared here whether from our own or someone else work must be proofed of where we had them.

Well, most of us have were guilty as far as plagiarism is concerned, because in those days we didn't know much but now that we have become bloggers we are here to learn much.

To my opinion, plagiarism in its way simply means using someone's ideas, documents or material whether in the form of hard copy or soft copy without asking for permission before using. It can be texts, images or video. In that case it becomes like you own those ideas or documents which is certainly not.

That's why in most of our thesis writing in colleges and universities we include references to any pieces of information that we add up after completing the whole written documents. This gives authenticity and originality as far as copyright law is concerned. In this case, we should always discourage the rampant plagiarism in our system of writing.

Reasons why I think many people involved in plagiarism is that they prefer easy way of making things cheaper without sweating little. They also feel reluctant to be creative and use their proof of brain. They do not believe of themselves to produce work or maybe they feel lazy to use their time, energy and mind to proof themselves that they have the potentials of being on their own.

A sample of my well cited text

"Essential hypertension is also greatly influenced by diet and lifestyle. The link between salt and high blood pressure is especially compelling. People living on the northern islands of Japan eat more salt per capita than anyone else in the world and have the highest incidence of essential hypertension. By contrast, people who add no salt to their food show virtually no traces of essential hypertension."

"Most people with high blood pressure are "salt sensitive," meaning that anything more than the minimal bodily need for salt is too much for them and increases their blood pressure. Other factors that can raise the risk of having essential hypertension include obesity; diabetes; stress; insufficient intake of potassium, calcium, and magnesium; lack of physical activity; and chronic alcohol consumption."

I hope with the knowledge acquired on how to cite someone's original work, acknowledge his effort, I would be able to give proper copyright text, image or video here in steem.

Thanks to @cryptokannon and her team helping Newcomers to acquire more knowledge to share their content in Steem. I also thank @oppongk for his guidelines he always give me here in Steem. Thanks to all steemit friends.
