After I left Fuyu Building, I was wandering around in this Tulou village. There are two main places where we can see the Tulou in Fujian. One is Yongding(永定) and the other is in Nanjing(南靖). Now I am in Yongding.

Walked on the ancient stone path along the river, this scene made me hum a Chinese song, the lyrics means about "walking on the country road, the old cow on the road is my companion ..." Nice feeling~

On the road, I met an ancient long pavilion, and on the other side of the long pavilion, there were two horrible statues wearing ancient official clothes. Will someone be scared to death when passing by at night?

The Tulous here are still inhabited by people, with a strong atmosphere of life. Unlike many other historical buildings that are usually seen, most of them have only shells for viewing.

The old man sits in front of the building to bask in the sun, and the people in the building also take out the dried vegetables, firewood sticks, clothes, etc. to dry outside, and life seems not to be disturbed by tourists!

Tulous are not only round, but also square, more in round. In the beginning, Tulous was built to defend against bandits and beasts. They are usually built on three to five floors, and the windows on the first and second floors are not allowed to open. There are some holes in the wall, which are used to attack bandits. These buildings can be attacked and defended.

This Kuiju Building is a square large Tulou with a palace-like structure. It is said that the middle door does not open in normal time. Just when the guests come, they open the middle door to greet them.

A Tulou still under construction? I thought that the Tulous were only built by former people to defend against bandits, so I don't think that the current people will also build Tulou to live? Is it because a group of people living together more like a big family?

Wander in the village and feel the leisure and tranquility of the locals everywhere. It seems that tourists are also part of a large family. They didn't change their way of life because of the tourists. The old hats seem to bring people back to the ancient and simple era.
