THE LARGEST "CURTAIN"

When I set my eyes at this enchanting waterfalls, I was dumb-founded. It's the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen!

Getting here is quite a challenge cause the road is bumpy and rough. Four-wheeled car is a must! From the entry point, we descended down and down an endless stairway of about 500 steps. And to our delight, this mesmerizing surprise awaited for us! I forgot all about our stressful road experience. The hardship is all worth it.

Asik-Asik, which in English means "splash," is true to its word. We positioned ourselves in a hill adjacent to the falls, and the water from the falls is showering upon us. There's no cottages here, whatsoever, which keeps it all the more natural, untouched, and charming.

What makes Asik-Asik captivating is its unique splendor. There's no stream above the towering wall, instead the waters come from a spring covered by rocks and lush greens, mostly by different kinds of ferns and moss. Thus, it visually gives the picture of a gigantic curtain of cascading waters!!! I tell you, its breathtakingly beautiful!

This adventure is humbling. The more I see awe-inspiring creations, the more I am compelled to give thanks to Jehovah God, who "has made everything beautiful in its time."--Eclesiastes 3:11.
