Amazing Adjustments That Have Changed My Life Since Joining Steemit — Untaleted-Adjustments

I just want to start off by saying that I’m grateful to @surpassinggoogle for giving us all the opportunity to share our story. Steemit is a global network that connects people from all walks of life and all different countries. Before joining this platform in December, i was basically limited to my own little world at university since i have no social media other than this and I like to only socialize with close friends.

But Steemit opened the door for something special.

My Adjustment

Before joining Steemit, i didnt really talk about crypto with anyone other than my girlfried and one friend at work. Most people dont really accept crypto no matter how much you talk about the positive opportunities it brings. Especially if you consider that most people at university are learning about the stock market and business dealings.

Crypto is considered a “scam” or worthless by most people. So this isolated me at university from discussing it with anybody since nobody seemed to accept it. But a friend at work has a similar interest in crypto so i can talk to him about it. I’m going to be introducing him to Steemit when I get back to work. But what other than him, there is nobody around to talk to about crypto and what is going on in the crypto space.

This is where Steemit comes in. Ive learned so much from people here on Steemit and have been kept up to date with crypto news.Ive really felt a connection with people here on Steemit. Everybody here is willing to talk about crypto. This is my release from the real world where nobody knows or cares what I’m talking about.

Steemit has also showed me a new hobby which is photography. Ive never been interested in it before, but with a large photography community, i am really starting to love it. There is beauty in everything, and if you take the time to look for it, you will be more happy. Ive been looking for beauty everywhere i go. Even in the ugly there is beauty. This has really changed how i look at the world.

But lastly, Steemit is beginning to provide me with a way to earn extra money. Being at university is rough. Money is always tight and i dont even have enough money to pay for the education. But with Steemit i can build my profile and earn more money. College is an investment and so is Steemit. It takes work. And I’m willing to work for it. This combined with my job will hopefully help me take care of my expenses.

Overall, I’m just happy to be a part of the Steemit community. There are so many wonderful people here who are willing to talk and share their opinions and stories. Even with some of the issues and fighting we have within the platform sometimes, i do feel a sense of community here because we all want to the same thing. This platform is a great opportunity and I’m glad to be here. Good luck to everybody with their Steemit blog and crypto investments. We are all a part of something special!!
