The Unico City Station 🚂
Hi everyone!
I want to introduce you to a futuristic city, built by my son Leonardo, who is almost 3 years old.
Leo has a great passion for all activities that require manual skills and in the last few weeks, I have presented some of his creations to you.
He likes to paint, to play with magic sand, with magnets, with Playdoh paste...he loves all the games with water and also adores to chop and stick anything. It's not always easy to manage him, because in some cases he must be stopped...but we try to let him express his creativity as much as possible.
Today he enjoyed playing with building blocks and came up with a nice setting.
He asked me to take all those we had available and he laboriously went to work.
He made it all by himself and, at the end, he called me to show me the result.
I liked it a lot...it reminded me of those apocalyptic scenarios that are seen in sci-fi movies, but also those environments that don't have a precise temporal location, like the structures that are seen, for example, in the films of the new Star Wars trilogy.

In this small station, there are also people and some animals, two horses, while on one of the train cars there is a cat.
The train carries both freight and passengers and waits to leave. In fact, at first it's stopped on the platform, but then it will take his place on the rail.
There was nothing left to do but take a lot of photos of this creation and I was already thinking of sharing it with you, since you also appreciated the previous ones.
In my opinion, it's amazing to observe how fascinating is the way in which a child's mind combines reality and fantasy, in a creative but also likely way.
I am happy that, probably, we will have a little more freedom shortly and therefore he will not stay all the time indoors, but he will also spend some time with his grandparents.
At the same time, I am also a bit sorry, because we will spend less time together and inevitably, I will miss some of his brilliant inventions.
So...what do you say? Are you ready to go?
The train departing from Unico City Station still has a few free blocks for you!
As long as you're not too uncomfortable... 😄
