Open doors, Closed doors
How nice to hear: "The doors are open for you", is not it? We all like open doors. Already closed doors leave us worried, afraid and, often, even scrambled. The proof of this is that in our prayers, we always ask God to open the doors and never close them, is not it?
Many believe that God does not close doors, only opens them. They think that the devil is the only culprit and responsible for all the doors that are closed in our lives. But the Bible shows that God also closes the doors before us. He does it because he loves us and wants to protect us. When things go wrong in us, it is time to evaluate our ways and return to God. We must not abandon our faith, for God certainly has a purpose in all things.
When we read the testimonies of men and women being used by God, we soon thought that everything in their life was easy and that they did not have to face any obstacle ahead. But we deceived ourselves, because all went through great trials and only then the doors opened and God operated the miracles. See an example of the apostle Paul in that he was going to preach the Gospel, but God closed the doors for him:
"Paul and his companions traveled through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in the province of Asia." When they reached the border of Misia, they tried to go to Bithynia, But the Spirit of Jesus prevented this, and in which a Macedonian man stood and begged him: "Come to Macedonia and help us." After Paul had that vision, we immediately prepared ourselves to leave for Macedonia, assuming that God calls us to give good news to them "(Acts 16: 6-10).
Have you tried hitting the doors just to see if they would open? This is what happened with Pablo. He had already done a wonderful job of evangelization in Asia, as we read in Acts 16: 5: "So the churches were confirmed in the faith and increased in number each day" (Acts 16: 5). With that, he was sure that God wanted him to take that work forward. But, to his surprise, he found the door closed, not by the people or by the devil, but by the Holy Spirit of God! That's right: "... they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in the province of Asia," then they tried to go to another area of Asia Minor - but again the Holy Spirit did not leave. With that, he and his companions went to Troas and there God revealed his plan: He did not want Paul to stay in Asia any longer, but in Macedonia. It was time for Europe to hear the Word of God.
If you want to do God's will, but you feel confused about not having found an open door, Jesus has a word for you:
"Ask and you will be given, find and find, call and the door will be opened so that everyone who asks receives, whoever seeks finds, and whoever calls, the door will be opened" (Luke 11: 9-10).
You may have knocked on many doors and it remained closed, but the Lord says to you, "Continue beating Continue to ask, because I will open the best doors for you
"The apostle Paul will not stay in Jerusalem waiting for a vision, but he was persevering, knocking on other doors, until God revealed his plan through a vision, in a city closer to the place where God wanted him to be. In the same way, God always works thinking about giving you the best! See what Jesus continued saying:
"What father of you, if his son asks for a fish, will he be given a snake instead, or if he asks for an egg, will he give him a scorpion? Well, if you, being bad, know how to give good things to his children,! plus the Father of heaven will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him "(Luke 11: 11-13)
God is Father and He has pleasure in attending to his children. But He is the one who knows what doors should be opened or not in our lives. Our job is to ask and trust His wisdom and sovereignty, believing that He is doing everything to cooperate for our good! God bless you.

Hi @glendys!
The doors represent opportunities that should not be missed, many ignored Noah's ark when the door was open, the flood came and it was sad!
Let us take advantage of the great opportunities that God gives us today.
Good message and very inspiring, The Apostle Paul had incredible revelations to announce the gospel of love.
As we say in the known world, When a door is closed, there will be a window, but with God there are no doors, or gates that can not be opened. Greetings.
I believe God opens dooors and closes doors too. Doors are opportunities that God allows to come our way. God only allows good ones to opne for us but closes or restrain is from entering the ones from the evil one. Thanks for the message, bless you @glendys
Sometimes door are closed or opened by own making just like the case of Cain and Abel
