ADAPTING TO CHANGES IS ACCEPTING THE CHANGES

Hello there my friends, how are you all doing this time of cold rainy days? Me , I am enjoying my work from home set up today. As I am now talking about my work from home set up let me share the whole story behind it..

Due to the dramitical increase of the covid19 cases in my hometown, our institution has been chosen as an additional isolation in our area with this, the vecinity is no longer accessible to the staff and to the parents. The teaching staff were advised to move to a safer place where they can continue distributing the modular printed copies to the student. This modular printed method has been done since 2020 as the only method to avoid congregation and to continue the education.

CHANGES

SORTING -Teachers have to sort hundreds of modules per subject,section and activity before distributing to parents. They have to make sure that the quantity of the sorted papers are enough to all students and that every printed copy should be readable and clean.

DISTRIBUTION/RETRIEVAL- Sorting may take few days before it's done whilst the distribution may only take one day. The distribution and retrieval process has become easier this time for the parents because the teachers have planned well on how to organize the schedule to avoid spreading the virus when the parents flocked on the same area.

SORTING OF ANSWER SHEETS- The fact that the teachers should find ways to avoid or prevent the parents from staying long in the school,the teachers will then have to sort the retrieved answer sheets and place them on the boxes per subject and later forwarded to the subject teachers in charge, however this may take 2-3 days because before doing so, these papers are usually be disinfected before being checked.

CHECKING AND GRADING- With all those process have done, the last thing to do is to check and record their scores and make their grades for that quarter. This part is somehow complicated yet rewarding. This is also the time when we have to do it at home. The only time we stay in school is during sorting, distribution amd retrieval.

This is now how the teachers work daily preparing the future, I just honpe that the students would see their parents effort for doing this to them.
