SEAPORT IN VIEW.
The last time my team went to the city of Port Harcourt for emancipation, we went visiting and I decide to take pictures of the seaport with the ships and canoe, it was indeed a wonderful sight to behold.
Seeing people using the canoe as their means of transportation.
It was quite funny though, seeing beautiful and well dress men and women struggle for the life Jacket in other to enter the canoe to live for work, just as we struggle to enter a taxi or tricycle so that we won't be late for work or where ever we would be going to.
I too saw children, they were so happy, relaxed and comfortable joining their parents in the canoe.
I also notice that men and women who were well to do or perhaps buoyant enough will just chatter the canoe, just themselves to their destination, exactly how we who uses Taxi or tricycle does, most things we all do when using the taxi is done using the canoe.
One thing I noticed too was that the canoe carried people to and fro had a particular route to take,I am quite sure if they took a different route the canoe might have issue.
You know something crossed my mind while i was watching the activities going on at the seaport, i asked myself if i would I be able to enter the canoe, just as if nothing is happening, and its was as if someone close to me read my mind, he said perhaps if I was born and brought up in such area I would have as well cope just like I feel comfortable in the taxi.
You know most times travelling is really fun, you get to learn, know other peoples believe, norms, ethics etc.
It was really a nice thing to behold, and an experience I won't forget in a hurry.
Feed you eye.

Reading your account reminds me of the Warri Port. Every of your scene is almost a replicated in Warri Port, except the usaual "Area gragra" notoriety of the Warri indegens who " no de carry last"😄
