Music and TV Way Back Challenge: Day 2

This week the awesome @enginewitty began this challenge as a way of earning SBD to help me repay my loan for flight tickets to the upcoming TWB meetup in Gatlinburg, TN. I cannot express enough gratitude for this brilliant gesture on his part. Thank you!

@saffisara began the #tvshowwaybackchallenge and @greek-trail started the #musicwaybackchallenge. I thought that I would take part in this too and will post these for the next seven days also, reliving some of my youth...if I can remember that far back.

The Banana Splits

I remember this being on TV on a Saturday morning and, though I was too young to understand quite what the hell was going on, I used to watch it with my two brothers. I loved the theme tune.

Music Challenge

This was released in 1977 by E.L.O - Electric Light Orchestra. I was seven and very much enjoyed the beat throughout the track.

The ending is also very memorable with the choir and the change in tone and slightly classical sound. This track was on the Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 mixtape.
