Socio-philosophical ideas in Max Weber's teachings
Usually Max Weber is defined as one of the fathers of sociology. It is the "bourgeois response" to Marx.- 1904 - "Protestant ethics and the spirit of capitalism"
A unifying center of interest is the relationship between the economy and the law.
Under sociology Max Weber understands social philosophy rather.
Three are the central themes of his work:
- His teachings about the ideal types, which is a teaching about the specifics of the methodology of social knowledge.
- The types of domination.
- The Genesis of Western Capitalism.
There is a fundamental debate about the fundamental difference between natural and social sciences. Neocanists believe it is wrong for social sciences to develop in the likeness of nature. For them, there is a principle incompatibility between the two types of science. In natural (natural) science laws are formed on the basis of a summary of many facts that are repeated. In the sciences of society we are talking about phenomena in which individuality matters (here the principle of freedom is assisted, and in the natural sciences - the principle of necessity).
Individuality, uniqueness in the social sciences is essential, and therefore can not develop like the natural sciences.
Max Weber is looking for a third type of solution - he does not accept either the Cont (Auguste Conte) or the Neo-Kantians. Exit Weber offers with his teachings about the ideal types.
The concept of "social action" according to Weber is the basic unit of social life. According to him, social life is a combination of social actions, and they have no limitations, because man's actions can be defined in the past, present or future. One such definition raises the question of whether all actions of a person can be social. According to Max Weber, social actions are human actions toward other people. Actions on objects are not social actions. But contacting a person or a group of people is not necessarily a social action. Then, when the action is deliberately directed, then it is social action. If there is a random, unintentional "collision", then there is no social action. In social action there is always some idea, an idea.

I certainly hope that some political leaders have a little more of this character's social approach
