Masters of the Universe - The Transformation

After being transported back to Greyskull Castle with the rest of the Lords, and being told by He-Man that to continue the quest we would need to transform into our 80's comic persona's, Lord Gohba was feeling very lost and at pain. For many years Lord Gohba had been avoiding is past life, records of his dynasty began being published early in the 20th century but it is believed that his family lineage stretches back some 21 generations. During the 80's, his father was hanging around with Flash Gordon and Mandrake the Magician trying to be the defenders of the Earth.

With this in mind, Lord Gohba reluctantly returned to his homeland on the Bengalla coast, where 400 years earlier, his ancestor washed ashore half dead, stinking drunk and the lone survivor of a pirate attack that killed all of his shipmates. He was nursed back to life by the friendly Bandar pygmies who are still to this day friends of the family.

Lord Gohba arrives in the Port of Bengalla to the sound of the drums ringing out over the jungle "Kit Returns, Kit Returns", he knew his return would not go unnoticed.

As Lord Gohba enters the jungle, he knows from here on out he would be referred to by his birth name, Kit. The Bandar meet him on the trail to Skullcave, the place of his birth and as he approaches, he sees his father standing proudly watching him arrive.

Kit notices at once that his father is old, and appears to be very weak. He now realizes that his time as the marauding, womanizing blacksmith have come to an end, it is his time to take the Oath of the Skull and take his place as the 22nd Phantom - The ghost who walks, the Man Who Can Never Die!!

As his father passes, Kit wanders through Skull Cave to check on Hero and Devil and their offspring who would now be his constant companions. The young wolf and white stallion are strong and eager to please their new master. The Bandar come to greet him, unaware of the passing of his father. To the Bandar, they truly believe that the Phantom can never die, Kit is the new Phantom and his legacy will live on.

Kit prepares and hones his skills of the phantom, readying himself for the quest to be taken soon. He also knows that he needs a wife, as he can not allow his line to fail, he needs a son. He thinks back to his previous companions ChooXena and Princess Loki, they would have given him good strong sons. He wonders if he'll come across them in the new quest.
