Biennale fountains (Krabi art - i guess)

in #getyerlearnon7 years ago (edited)

So the outdoor art scene has been a bit cool ever since the Krabi tourism people fired the people behind "The Must" and brought it Biennale! Which as i have mentioned before gives them a wonderful opportunity to take a year to figure out if they want to do it again.

Since the new year is coming several events have been opened back up, such as the to water features on the river. THese are always fun!

There is one more but i think I can stop there. The pumps are all broken. I'm not kidding, none of the fountains work. Which is a real shame because i think most people can agree that the best part of a fountain is the moving water.

I thought for a minute that maybe it was an incredibly complicated system but the left the gate open to where the broken pump is and it was something that costs about $200 (know because i had almost the same unit before.)

I wish I could show you guys this stuff as it was intended to be because I would like to believe that the artists were also interested in where the water would land but I can't tell you where that is. Maybe it will be better in the future.

Hooray art and stuff!

Oh snap! No working pump = no moving water. No moving water = Mosquitoes. Bam! No one wants that. No one wants to hang out by the river in the humidity getting eaten alive. Or maybe they do. Lol. Interesting sculpture and a cool way to combine them with water. Maybe they should try converting them to fire features?? Dang it.. probably too hot for that :-P

there's no mosquitoes in Thailand. :P I hadn't even thought about it from that angle. That's gonna be a problem. I suppose we are lucky that most of the day those ponds are in direct wrath-of-god sunlight so anything in the water will surely die.

Wow.. I didn't know that. They are a very lucky people not to have that humidity and the biting of mosquitoes. That would surly be a bad combination. Happy New Year @gooddream!!

This is a very original idea, a fountain without moving water. You won't get wet, when it's windy, big plus!

solar panel pumps would be cool or wind generated?

If art could be expressed outside paradise, always creating content for young people who want to undertake this wonderful work that is called life in the field of art, I love my friend, thanks also for the information, as always, I respect my respects. I am already active in my blogger.

Those sources are real works of art, too bad they don't work, my friend. As you say the attraction is to see the water flowing, it's fun and relaxing. Here in Venezuela there are many dry fountains for lack of maintenance and at the time were shows worth admiring. A hug, @gooddream.

Good afternoon

Art is abstract, dear friend, everyone appreciates it in their own way, however, I agree with you, they would look much better if the pumps and motors that operate the sources work.

The sculptures are extremely interesting and beautiful, according to my taste and the walk, I imagine that it was also very nice, very good for you.
