Greeting all...

Ox carts, or "ox carts" in English, are a very important traditional means of transportation in many parts of the world, especially before the development of modern transportation technology. These carts are generally made of wood and pushed by a pair of oxen tied to the front of the cart. The construction of an ox cart is very simple but functional, designed to facilitate the transportation of goods and people in rural areas or on roads where motorized vehicles cannot pass.

In Indonesia, ox carts are often used in villages to transport agricultural products such as rice, corn and other agricultural products. This cart is also used to transport various building materials or even as a means of transporting merchandise in traditional markets. Apart from its practical function, ox carts also have high cultural value, reflecting the village community's way of life and local wisdom.

The way an ox cart works is very simple. Strong oxen were pulled with their physical strength, pushing large and sturdy circular cart wheels. These wheels are usually made of wood that has been carved in such a way that it is durable. This cart can be adapted to various needs, from transporting agricultural products to personal transportation.

As technology advances and the shift to motorized vehicles, the use of ox carts is decreasing. However, in some areas, these carts are still used and are a symbol of cultural heritage and local wisdom that must be preserved. Even though they look ancient, ox carts still play an important role in the history of traditional transportation and rural life.
