My Happiness Jar| Little Moments, Big Smiles.

Some moments in our lives are so special and may stay in our hearts forever. This week, One of my greatest happiness came from the birth of my friend's baby boy. After 9 years of raising her 2 lovely daughters, yes Our Almighty God Jehovah has finally granted my friend's heart's desire by giving her a son. Seeing her so joyful filled my heart with gratitude and excitement.

When my friend became pregnant last year, she was worried that she might have another girl, not that girls are not precious but she longed to experience having a son. So I encourage her to be positive, to pray and trust in Jehovah, who knows our hearts desires and what's best for us. When I received the wonderful news that she had safely delivered a healthy baby boy, I couldn't stop smiling. Yes tears of joy was rolling down my face.

The joy was greater because this little handsome prince is the first grandson in her husband's family. Everyone was overjoyed. Their celebration reminded me that every child is a blessing from Jehovah God, whether a boy or a girl. But what really touch me is seeing how Jehovah has answered her heartfelt prayers in his own perfect time.

I couldn't wait when She broke the news, so I visited her immediately in the hospital, to congratulate her and meet the long awaited prince. I prepared pepper soup yam with pork and spices for her, as a new mom the soup will help her heal fast and produce enough breast milk for the newborn. Oh my goodness, holding the tiny baby in my arms filled me with immense happiness. He look so peaceful as he slept wrapped in his colorful blanket. I spent minutes admiring his innocent face which reminded me how precious the gift of life is. My friend was smiling with relief and thanking Jehovah unceasingly, I tell you, it makes my visit even more memorable!

What I felt most was gratitude. I grateful to Jehovah for protecting both the mom and baby throughout the journey and during delivery. I'm glad that my friend's fear had been replaced with peace and joy. Watching her family Jubiliating this priceless gift reminded me that Jehovah listens to sincere prayers and always knows what is best for us.

I believe that that it's very important that we appreciate the little joys in our daily life because they will help us to remain positive and thankful. The truth is that not all happy moment comes from achieving something great. Sometimes the smile of a newborn baby, the good health of our loved one, or sharing in someone else's happiness can brighten our entire week. I always take time to count my blessings and these always filled my heart with joy and gratitude instead of worry.

This beautiful experience has become one of the precious memories in my own happiness jar. It reminded me that celebrating other people's blessings as if it were ours help true happiness to grow. I pray that may Jehovah continues to bless and protect my friend and her children, may he bless the little prince with good health, wisdom and a bright future, may he bless my friend's family with peace love and happiness!
