The Diary Game Sunday 14th, April 2024: Giving A Lunch Treat To Our Family Friend.

Hi Friends! It's great to share my day with you, how was your weekend? Mine was fantastic 😍. Yesterday, my family friend visited us at our kingdom hall and we had a wonderful time together. She said her kids were missing us so much, so she decided to attend a meeting with us. We were all so happy and enjoyed lunch together at the Crunchies restaurant.

I'm always grateful for waking up healthy and strong every day. As usual, I woke up early to prepare for our Christmas meeting. I ironed our outfits and then prepared Plantain porridge with goat meat and periwinkles, which is my husband's favorite dish. We all showered, had our morning worship, ate, dressed up, and left for Kingdom Hall.

Although we were 5 minutes late, the meeting was refreshing and encouraging! We were reminded of Jehovah's love and how he will always care for us during trial times. It was comforting to hear that “[God] has said: ‘I will never leave you, and I will never abandon you.’”—HEB. 13:5b

My little friend commented during the question-and-answer section and came to give me a tight hug after the meeting was over. Her mother said they were talking about us too much, which was why they decided to attend Christian meetings with us.

After the meeting, we took them to Crunchies to relax because the sun was scorching. We ordered delicious food and drinks, and the kids really enjoyed themselves. We caught up a lot while eating. Life is not easy anywhere, but Jehovah God has been faithful to them and is too. Before we dropped them off at their house, we bought bread for ourselves and them too.

From there, we went to my husband's car stand because he needed to fix something. I was tired and dozed off while he was working. After he was done, I saw a mat and bought it for my baby, which cost 6,500 Naira. At this point, my baby was not comfortable, and I knew she was hungry because she refused to eat at the restaurant. So we left for home immediately.

At home, I prepared custard for her, and then we showered. Unfortunately, I had a migraine, which I knew was not due to stress but malaria. I took hot chocolate with bread for dinner and drank Dolometa B drugs before retiring for the day. It was a great day with a thoughtful friend, and I was glad that we could make them happy and comfortable. As for my health, I'm recovering because I started taking malaria/typhoid drugs yesterday.
