Lunch Date with Friends at "Pho A Pho Saigon", Fort St John
Hello Foodies!!
Yestrday, my friends and I had a lunch date for welcoming our new Indonesian lady who just came to our city Fort St John.
Our restaurant choice goes to Pho A Pho Saigon, the best autenthic Vietnamese cuisine in town!
We started with their "Crispy Veggies Spring Rolls" serve with special peanut sauce, couldn't ask for more! taste of the sauce makes me want to have more and more.
My friend Nita and I ordered the same meal.
"Spicy Sate Beef, Beef Ball Rice Noodle Soup" my eyes catched this soup when I open the menu, the soup was really good and rich. Noodle rice is always be my favorite noodle, and I just can't move on from its beef slices and beef balls.
"Stir Fried Pad Thai" was what my other friend Yuliana ordered, to be honest I was so jelaous of her food, Lol. Fried rice noodle with shrimp, chicken, tofu, egg, bean sproud, scallion and cillandro! they looks so nice and I just can't get it out of my mind.
And...our new friend Indonesian lady, Tina ordered this "War Wanton Soup" she still not used to our Canadian big portion, haha. I mean, I had the same experience when I got here the first time, I can't never finish my food when I go for outside meal. Because we are so used to an Asian portions which is always smaller, Lol.
For drinks, we had two jugs of detox water drinks.
After the meal, we got free watermelon too! excellent.
I really like this restaurant, beside the owner Anna Chan decorate it with those autenthic Vietnamese decorations, she also make this restaurant looks like environment friendly by placing some indoor plants as decorations in few spot of the restaurant.
They serve many types of Vietnamese cuisine, I bet you'll get confused about what you gonna ordered as all their food looks so tempting!
About the price, I think they are avarage. I mean... what you can ask for more when you happy with the food that you had, right..?? the soup mostly cost $15 to $19 CAD so does the fried an other meal cost about the same.
Most of the food was pretty good, we are all happy with their service so above excellent! Anna Chan the owner is so friendly and generous lady from Vietnam. When I told her that I can't finish my food because the portions is so big, but I wanted to wrap it up to go. And... surprised! she also wrap another free meal for my hubby, like...oh my gosh...another noodle soup for my hubby? she's so kind, this is my first time see her in person, oh...I'll definitely come back to her restaurant with my hubby soon. And next time, I'll order the Pad Thai...
jezz...can't wait!
Never miss to take the shot wearing some of the Autenthic Vietnamese decorations originally home made by Anna Chan's mother from Vietnam.
EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE, awesome!!!
