Gloves of the fighting pride of the Philippines!

This Pacquiao authenticated victorinox gloves was given to my uncle by bobby, mannys brother and my uncle gave it to me. This gloves costs roughly around $400 to $450 when Pacquiao was in his prime years, now i asked the appraiser how it costs, he told me that the price dropped dramatically since he lost a lot of fights through the years, but he could still offer $100 bucks for it since im his good friend, i just smiled and said its okay, i would have to decline his offer. My friend was shocked and he asked me why, i just said that fom the start, im not really interested in selling this gloves. I just wanted to know the value of the things he used to own. He said okay, then asked me again, why. I just said that the value of things doesn't really tell its worth. After hearing those words, his face seemed confused. I smiled and said, look at it this way, how much did you buy your shoes? He said its cheap, just got it for $65 dollars. I asked him again, is it worth it? He answered, yes, its worth it. Value for money he even added. And then i answered, see, its value for money and worth it. I asked him again, if you were to sell these shoes of yours, are you going to sell it at a higher price because you already know its worth it? He answered with a simple yes. I told him again, see? Isn't it nice to know that the value of things you got was worth more than the price you bought it for? I mean, look this, im still young, i still dont have children, if im going to sell this to you now, do you think my children and the children of my children would still know manny pacquiao? He answered with a simple i domt know. I answered him again, precisely, chances are, they wouldn't know him anymore. Maybe they would just hear his name, but wont know his story. Thats why i am here. Thats why this is here. This gloves isnt just a simple glove. Its his story. His legend. Sooner or later this gloves would cost more than its original value. It may cost like $800 to $900? Who knows, maybe more? But i am sure of it that it will increase, not in value, but by worth. It may be less of value now, but to me, its worth more because of the life story behind it. He just smiled again and told me, i get you brother. I get you. Thank you.
