'2rackers' - New Original Music - Adding Some More Ideas to Yesterday's Song - Electronic/Insstrumental
So I spent a little time
on yesterday's time songwriting challenge tune, and this is the result. I added a drumbass to help boost some of the snares and hihats in the second drum track (Track 10), along with the kick drum track. I also altered the kick rhythm at the end of the sections, where it doubles up to an 1/8th thing to fill in the gap a bit more, and transition us back into the next section. As you can see, the middle of the song has also changed, with the bass tracks, and the synth in Track 1 cutting out, along with hihats and snares (aside from Track 10). They come back in shortly after, just breaking things up a bit.

The other new addition is the Group
at the bottom of the session, Tracks 14-17. Essentially, these each play a little part, one right after the other, in the middle of each section. I knew the effect I was going for, but I think these sounds are a little too different, and it all feels a little random. I'll probably experiment with some different ideas here, and see if I can get it to sound how I'm imagining it. I think because these bell sounds don't really appear anywhere else in the track, it just doens't feel particularly cohesive.
