'Floating Around' - New Original Music/More Experimenting with Spitfire Audio VSTs! Electronic/Ambient/Instrumental + Walkthrough!
Here's another tune using
all the cool new VSTs I installed from Spitfire Audio. Most of these are the same as what I used in the tune I shared yesterday, super ambient and floaty. I tried to add some piano here, but it was too rhythmically accurate and didn't really flow with the spacey vibe of the other tracks. Let's go through it!

The basic progression here
is Cmaj7, Fsus2, Cmaj7 and then G. All of the other tracks are built around this, adding various layers of harmony. The coolest addition was Track 4, which uses an F# that moves up to a G (over the Gmajor chord). The flat 5 here gives the feeling of the V/V chord, which I think really added to the vibe, making it more harmonically complex than just a I, IV, I, V.
