'RzrEdge' - New Original Music - Experimenting w/ the 'Raum' Delay/Reverb Plug-in! Rock/Instrumental + Walkthrough!
This is definitely not
a complete song, and the drums wound up being way too far back in the mix, but I was really just interested in playing around with a new plug-in I downloaded: 'Raum', a delay/reverb plug-in from Native Instruments (totally free, from their Komplete Start package). Most of the instruments also came from that set, like the bass guitar, drum kit, electric piano, and various synths. The only other track is the guitar, which is also free, available through Spitfire Audio's LABS package.

The progression here is
definitely basic, one chord for each measure, though at the end of each 8 bar section, we resolve to the parallel major tonic (when the piano comes in, as before then, it isn't clearly defined). I think the guitar wound up sounding pretty great; this plug-in is simple, but has some awesome pre-delay effects, and the reverb that's built in sounds so lush. Everything was a bit of a random addition after the fact, just for fun, but I think I may take at least a portion of this, remix it, and built something new around it.
