Minnow of The Week 1, WHO I AM AND MY JOURNEY AS A STEEMIT PROMOTER FOR OVER 5 MONTHS NOW.

Introduction

My name is Asian George from Nigeria. I joined Steemit on 3rd July, 2017 and I have been committed ever since. For me, Steemit came into my life at the right time, it's been a financial support. As a Nigerian, I have embraced Steemit as my second job, thus my consistency here. I have written a lot of articles, ranging from stories, poems, news among others. But I'm a particular person for Steemit. Find out soon.

My journey as a Steemit promoter

I started promoting Steemit in September, 2017. It was after I printed the first banner here:

I eventually came across #promo-steem and decided to buy into their vision. Although I had the challenge of low number of votes and poor payouts after much sacrifice, I wasn't ready to be detared by amount of dollars on my post. My concerns has been helping people to know about Steemit and grabs the opportunity this platform presents. Here's some of my photos in schools during the promotion.

I have promoted Steemit in three schools: university of Port Harcourt Nigeria, College of Art and Science, Nigeria and Rivers state polytechnic, Nigeria.

I have also made jingle videos for local TV channels here in Nigeria. You can watch here.

It's been a sweet journey so far and I'm making plans to do more.
