A few weeks ago, I was still skeptical. I said openly that I wasn't sure about Steem's future. Some of you remember. And honestly — I wasn't the only one thinking that way.

Then something changed.

After some frustrating experiences on Facebook — where I run groups with several hundred thousand members — I made a decision: If you want things to get better on Steem, stop waiting and start building.

So today I bought 20,000 STEEM and powered it all up immediately. 💪

How can I ask others to believe in this blockchain as a Witness if I don't put my money where my mouth is? I can't. So I did.

🛠️ What I've been building

I made a promise to the community: one new app per month — apps that every regular Steem user, big or small, can actually use.

So far I've delivered:

• 🍳 SteemYum — a recipe sharing app, your personal cookbook on the blockchain

• 📸 SteemSnap — an Instagram-style photo sharing app

• 🌐 SteemFront — a completely new social media platform built on Steem

SteemFront started as scattered pieces I had been tinkering with for years. I never thought I'd bring it all together into something this big. But here we are.

🌍 Why SteemFront is different

SteemFront is built to be truly international — and I mean that seriously.

It's the first Steem frontend where every menu, every button, every text is available in 10 languages — and those translations weren't done with Google Translate. They were crafted with AI to read naturally in each language.

The platform is designed for people who are new to blockchain. No key management headaches, no technical jargon. You sign up with just an email address and a password. Your keys are stored securely and also sent to you by email. That's it.

What's already integrated:

🚀 Ich habe heute 20.000 STEEM gekauft — und hier ist der Grund

Vor einigen Wochen habe ich noch offen zugegeben, dass ich skeptisch war. Ich habe angedeutet, dass ich keine große Zukunft auf Steem sehe — einige von euch erinnern sich. Ich war damit nicht allein.

Dann hat sich etwas verändert.

Nach einigen frustrierenden Erlebnissen auf Facebook — wo ich Gruppen mit mehreren Hunderttausend Mitgliedern betreibe — habe ich eine Entscheidung getroffen: Wenn du willst, dass es auf Steem besser wird, dann hör auf zu warten und fang an zu bauen.

Deshalb habe ich heute 20.000 STEEM gekauft und sofort alles in Steem Power umgewandelt. 💪

Wie kann ich als Zeuge andere dazu aufrufen, an diese Blockchain zu glauben, wenn ich es selbst nicht tue? Das geht nicht. Also hab ich's getan.

SteemFront entstand aus einzelnen Projekten, an denen ich über Jahre immer mal wieder herumgebastelt habe. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich das alles einmal zu einer vollständigen Plattform zusammenfügen würde. Aber genau das ist passiert.

🌍 Was SteemFront besonders macht

SteemFront ist auf echte Internationalität ausgelegt. Es ist das erste Steem-Frontend, bei dem alle Menüs, alle Schaltflächen, alle Texte in 10 Sprachen verfügbar sind — übersetzt mit KI, damit sie in jeder Sprache natürlich klingen.

Die Plattform ist für Menschen gedacht, die neu auf der Blockchain sind. Kein Schlüssel-Management, kein technisches Fachwissen nötig. Man meldet sich nur mit E-Mail-Adresse und Passwort an. Die Keys werden sicher verwahrt und zusätzlich per E-Mail zugeschickt.
