Hi guys!..... good to see you again.

Am back and just wanna share with you this very lovely and sweet drawing of one of my favorite actresses here in the Philippines. Liza soberano, a very beautiful and charming young teenage girl who is very popular in the world of showbiz because of her looks and lovely smile. She was was included in the annual list of 100 women with the most beautiful faces in the world. The list was revealed by website TC Candler and based on submissions on the internet. So I made a portrait of her and I´m going to show you some pictures that I´ve been working on and still in progress.

Here, I tried sketching her face with no fancy colors yet just a smooth ruffs on her face and outlines. I´m not using any grid techniques like other artist out there. Just pure freehand drawing which is really comfortable for me.

Day 2 of my drawing will be applying some light shadings so I can clearly see some spots where I need to work on with. Also to figure some proportions. Gently rub your shading using a soft tissue or you can use your finger to smoothen your shading. These are just light just to give density especially on the skin. Make sure its very light and also be careful not to apply that much. You can use a graphite pencil with a light texture like HB. Also one tip of advice is try not to erase that much so your paper will not get damaged. Just a brief amount of pressure and use a kneeded eraser to apply on those small edges.

Day 3 of my drawing is clearing some outlines and applying a bit shading and also outlining some hair. As you can see, it´s not finished yet and I´m still working on it. After some shadingIi drew some hair outlines to complete her whole face. Use a dark graphite pencil for the hair part so it will look more natural. Here I´m using Steadler 8b.

I forgot to tell That I am using Canson Paper for graphite pencil. It has a good quality for making a charcoal and graphite drawings. Anyway, I´m still working on it. I hope you guys appreciate it somehow. I will try to make my best to bring out the most of it... so hope you like it!

I´ll post another update to let you know how it came out...so please stayed tuned to see the fully finished face of her.

Bye and see you again !! Cheers!
