So charcoal in a smoothie, health benefit or aesthetic benefit? Let’s be real, it’s both. Ever since I started taking food photos I’ve definitely loved jumping on any visually captivating health trends. It’s not just for looks though. Charcoal has a lot of reasons to be consumed aside from it’s striking color.

Activated charcoal has so many benefits. I use it in a lot of my bath products and toothpaste to. I will have to do the smoothie next. Great idea.
Watch out with charcoal if you're taking medication, because it could be absorbed by the charcoal.
