Larger Prize Pool Events Are What We Want To Create!

We would really like to see some large prize pools for Splinterlands events, so we are going to be arranging custom events in order to be able to create a larger prize pool depending upon number of entries.

The more players we get joining us will determine how big the prize pool will be, so make sure you invite your friends too!

Wait, What Is This?

Basically a way of creating some bigger sized prize pools with the hopes of creating some huge prize pools. The more people we can have join the events the bigger the prize pools will be! We've explored this opportunity and our method will work fine and has been ok'd by the Splinterlands team after we reached out to them.

How Does It Work?

We arrange 2 events:
Event #1 "Prize Pool Collector"
This tournament will be a high buy in tournament with a very small prize pool. Every person that enters this tournament will receive an invitation to tourney #2. (please note: only players that enter this event will receive an invitation to event #2)

Event #2 "Main Event"
This tournament will have a large prize pool with a free buy-in! The prize pool will be made up from approx. 90% of the buy-ins from "event #1" and only the players that joined "event #1" will be invited to this event.

Example:

Event #1 (prize pool collector):
20,000 DEC buy in - Prize pool = 100 Dec
Let's say 100 people join this tournament, then we add 90% of all the buy-ins to the the following tournament then the prize pool will be 1.8m DEC!

Event #2 (main event):
1 DEC buy in - Prize pool = 1,800,000 DEC!!! (yep, 1.8 million DEC)
This tournament will be invitational only and only the players that joined "tourney #1" will be invited.

In this example we use 100 players and the prize pool would be 1,800,000 DEC, that's 1.8 million DEC!!!

Prize Pools + Buy-In's

We are looking to cover a variety of buy-in sizes and the prize pools will be entirely dependant upon number of players. In the example above with 100 players at 20k dec each that would see a 1.8 million prize pool split between the winners.

We can tell you the minimum buy-in would be 10k dec. The maximum buy-in realistically would be around 500k dec however if we get interest for larger buy-ins then we would consider creating them.

Interested?

Please let us know in the comments below if you're interested in taking part in our events and what kind of buy-ins / prize pools you would like to see.

We are looking to create our first events on the 27th March 2020 or 3rd April 2020 depending upon feedback and level of interest.

Please do tell your friends about this if you are interested as the more people that join the bigger the prize pools will be.
