These mosquito have short life span and during this period they mate and produce eggs, after she must have had a good blood meal. They tend to deposit eggs in stagnant waters, even in fresh water, small streams, etc. They can deposit up to 200eggs, the eggs usually last for a period of 48-72 hours before they are being hatched, depending on the geography or temperature of that location. However this same eggs can survive in a very cold temperature, but not bellow freezing point it will kill the eggs. How do this vampires work at night

The mosquito has an antenna which she use to sense movement of her gullible victims, they usually fly towards the victim after getting a signal, they usually make some obnoxious sounds while flying, and when they land on your skin they go straight to business. From the face of a mosquito they have two notable things on their face which help them to pierce and suck blood which are: stylet and Proboscis -The stylet is inform of a very sharp needle which is used in piercing the human skin and while the proboscis is used for sucking out the blood from the victim, it is more like a tube connected at the face of the mosquito, during this process of piercing and sucking a plasmodium is being injected into the victim.

Symptoms of Malaria

According to several doctors malaria symptoms are categorised into: uncompleted malaria, and severe malaria, the uncompleted malaria symptoms are as follows, fever, headache, sweat, general body weakness, cold etc. During this stage the doctor take diagnosis when the symptoms are present. Sometimes it usually last for 6-10 hours and usually reoccur after a while. In most cases like this, alot of africans have understood the symptoms of malaria so when they face any situation like this, they treat it fast without seeing a doctor. In the case of severe malaria, it shows dysfunction in several organs of the body, symptoms could be characterized as Fever, convulsion, deep breathing, signs of anemia or severe bleeding etc.

Prevention of this causative mosquito

There are several ways to prevent malaria, ways to prevent it are as follows: Creating awareness to travellers from non endemic areas, to be fully aware of the dangers mosquitoes could cause, environmental sanitation avoid stagnant water around your home because it will serve as an habit for this mosquitoes to lay and hatch their eggs, vaccination, the use of mosquito net, alway try and obtain an antimalaria drug if you discovered any form of symptoms before visiting a doctor, the use of pestucides can also help prevent malaria to some extent.

Nice one! I had never thought of these little blood-suckers as real life vampires! Now, I can only think of it!

They make obnoxious sounds when they want to bite, and ones they land on your skin its time for dinner, 😂 here in africa we are already use to it, a bite from a mosquito can be a little bit painful, it can itch but its jus for a while though, thats why preventive measures are put in place like the use of pesticides, Vaccines, mosquito net etc ones we discovered any symptoms we treat it fast with anti-malaria drugs.. This is why alot of travellers from non-edemic zone should be aware of the Anopheles mosquito. Thanks for your comment @bengy
